KINDERGARTEN - ROBERT KLIPPEL

Kindergarten has been looking at the work of Australian Artist and Sculptor Robert Klippel AO (1920-2001).  His intricate, whimsical sculptures using found objects have been the inspiration for these Kindergarten pieces.  These sculptures highlight the individuality already present in student artworks.  Some students remember him by thinking of a Robber who steals hair clips. The children used imagery from Klippel's sculptures to create their own sculptures and then used their own sculptures as  inspiration to create their drawings.  I think they have done amazingly well to first imagine and then create.  Their enthusiasm continues to bring me joy.  They couldn't wait to take them home!

OPERATION ART-ISTS

Students from Year 1 - 6 attended Operation Art Workshops at Homebush.  These are some of the results of their wonderful day of art making.  Thank you for sharing your exquisite works with us all.

Spring Art Exhibition

Each year for mmmm.. I don't know how long TNPS has hosted a Spring Art Exhibition where every student in the school has a beautiful artwork exhibited to the parent and wider community.  This year the exceptional standard of students work at TNPS, that we have come to expect was well and truly reached.  It has to be said that the students' work was the highlight of the night but it would not have been possible without the generous help of parents and the incredibly amazing Mrs Wendy M, who organised everything!! and in the process kept me sane.  Thank you, I have told you many times but now it is in print...YOU ARE AMAZING!!
