YEAR 3 BOTANICAL

To complete the Botanical unit, year 3 has created designs on leaves.  They painted a background first and added the leaves.  What lovely designs.

YEAR 2 SOLAR PLATES AND PRINTS

Finally, a little sunshine, what a treat.  This is the beginning of the solar plates and prints that Year 2 have been working so diligently on.

YEAR 3 BOTANICAL

Year 3 looked at Australian printmakers Margaret Preston and Cressida Campbell and their botanical prints.  Students selected Australian Flora to draw.  Year 3 used fine black pens and line to create form and texture.  Ink dyes added vibrant colour to their works.  Simply beautiful!
