It is almost finished and as it is nearing its completion there have been many enquires as to what is happening to the chair and many offers to test it out! It is wonderful to see so much enthusiasm around a chair. What do you think?

YEAR 6 PHOTO IMAGE TRANSFER
Year 6 are studying the Australian Government and so in art we decided to focus on Prime Ministers. As luck would have it there were 29 students and 29 Australian Prime Ministers. Students learned the technique of photo image transfer, using photocopied images on canvas. After transferring the image students enhanced the image with white and black charcoal and painted the background. Students then used the app Word Photo to add another dimension to their artwork. Here is a sample.
