Year 3 are creating Indigenous Aboriginal inspired artworks, with a twist for the Spring Art Exhibition at school. The twist is they are also looking at the Sydney artist Joshua Yeldham with his labour intensive drawing of patterns and designs, layering his beautiful, sensitive works with intricate detail resulting in unique depictions of Australian landscape and nature. These photos are of the first stages of the students works. They are taking such care and pride in their own creations and I am very much enjoying the whole process.
